How much does the inspection cost?
PKR 2,500 to 5,000 depending on vehicle type — a standard hatchback sits at the lower end, large SUVs and specialist vehicles at the upper end. The exact price for your car is confirmed on the booking call, before anything is charged. There is no payment at booking.
How fast can you inspect?
Same-day and next-day slots are usually available across Lahore. Tell us your preferred time on the confirmation call and we’ll fit around you and the seller.
How do I pay?
Cash or bank transfer after the inspection is done. Nothing is charged when you book, and there is no advance.
What if the seller refuses the inspection?
Treat a refusal as information — sellers with nothing to hide rarely object to a 60–90 minute check. If the seller cancels before we dispatch, you owe nothing and we’ll happily inspect the next car instead.
What if the car gets sold before my slot?
It happens in this market. Tell us and we cancel free of charge — or move the booking to the next car on your list.
Can I cancel or reschedule?
Yes — free before the team is dispatched. Just message us on WhatsApp. We ask the same courtesy we give: let us know as early as you can.
How long does the inspection take at the car?
Typically 60–90 minutes for the full 70+ checkpoints including the test drive. We don’t rush it — the paint-depth pass alone covers every panel.
How many people come, and what do they bring?
Two CarOK mechanics attend every inspection, carrying a paint-depth gauge, OBD-II diagnostic scanner, battery tester and the full checklist kit. Two sets of eyes, one shared verdict.
When exactly do I get the report?
Same day in most cases. If an inspection finishes late in the evening or a finding needs additional review, the report may arrive the next morning — we’d rather be right than fast.
